LIKE us on facebook 👍
sprouts.schools/
The menstrual cycle, beginning around age 9 to 13, involves physical and hormonal changes across four phases: menstruation, follicular phase, ovulation, and luteal phase. This cycle, typically lasting 28 days, affects mood, health, and fertility, with experiences varying widely among individuals. Some may face minimal discomfort, while others have to deal with intense pain.

Circadian Rhythms: Why Teens Are Tired in School

This is a brilliant video! However, aiming to learn such a large number of words in most cases is a waste of time. By learning only around 2,000 of the most commonly used words, you can achieve a B1 (intermediate) level in a language. Instead of focusing on just one language, you can learn multiple languages and still have decent conversations with natives.

I’ve come to this video to understand why everyone kept referring to the 5 stages. I will remember this as I battle to live one day at a time. My worst nightmare has come true. Miss you mumma. We’ll make you proud and carry your legacy forward.

Pete Walker reckons that you'll never completely heal from CPTSD, but that you can improve. It takes regular attention. This, if true, is bleak, but also with a bit of light of hope. Improvement through awareness, is better than where one started. I suppose I also shower regularly, every day, to keep clean. Still, I'd be lying if I said that healing wasn't tiring in itself. But I try to do what I can. Some days are even good.

According to Sadhguru (and I'm paraphrasing here, not quoting), many of the things we consider "freedom" (eg., to act, speak, etc. however we want) are largely compulsions; therefore, we are a slave to them. True freedom then, is in harnessing the power of one's mind, body and emotions so that we have mastery over them, not the other way around.

Interesting analogy, but it rather depends on the context. In the case of wanton destruction of the environment it's particularly apt, but I don't think it's an absolute in any given life situation. It reminds me of a parable I heard years ago...a man was shot with an arrow, and people rushed to his aid. Before they could do anything to help, he stopped them. He said, "Before you remove this arrow, I want to know the name of the man who shot it, his clan, the type of wood the arrow is made of, the make of bow that it was shot with...." and so on and so forth. Before he could learn the answer to any of his questions, he died. So I guess in this case, it depends on what the fence is symbolizing. If it's an obstacle in your path to personal growth, I would say hop over it and continue on your way. ;)

As a middle aged guy, it would help to normalize the subject. I had to learn by tv commercials because my gf when I was a teen was too embarrassed, likely because the subject wasn't yet normalized. Just saying "because my period" doesn't do anything to teach young men what the experience is like fir a woman, and for many of those women seeking a sensitive man it does nothing for them if no man is taught what that cycle does to affect women. If we could just discuss it and force ADHD boys like me to pay attention it's go a long way in reducing Sexism imho, just by learning little things before flawed patterns are reinforced in our brains, which may lead to sexism if not quashed young.

Ultimately its about recognizing that people will try to classify you as this type of person. It doesnt have to be real at all infact most likely they will link your actions to your "self" but the thing is you are not your actions. You can become whatever you want to be and the only key herejs to not beleive negstive labels and recognize it as a poor judgement. So if someone calls me quiet and i start beleivin it ill try to confirm thst belejve. Realising that im choosing to be quiet and dont have that stamp is key

I don't think it's a good idea to teach bullies in school tactics for bullying. It would give victims of bullying understanding what what they experienced, but teaching what 'moral disengagement' is does not get to the heart of the problem of the behaviour.

You could perhaps do a companion video on some of the other excuses that people use for hurting others, like "tough love", "you have to be cruel to be kind", "this hurts me more than it hurts you", "no pain, no gain", - the "she needs to toughen up" sort of links it in.

There are way too many idiots out there to leave the decision up to each set of parents. Plus, what if this kid wants to go to university? How would they ever get in? This may have worked in a commune type setting, but there are no villages to help raise a child in the west any longer.

My ex has a bpd and the whole video for me was like a trip to the past. I don’t remember anything from the time in the relationship well, because of how traumatic it was, so this video actually rewokes memories. I should tell, that if you are 14 yrs old, and live in a country, where there is no such a concept as mental health, such a disorder really hits hard, because you don’t know, what’s going on I wanted to say something funny or interesting in the end to make this comment to exist for a reason, but well… Yeah, also, sometimes guys with bpd start randomly stabbing people with a knife in cold blood

I hope this comment helps. I am a Machiavellian I scored high, I have all the traits and the means to justify the end mind. Empathy - yes we are less empathetic but we know the feelings our action or words do to people, after all you cannot manipulate someone if you dont understand how they feel.. we might show compassion only when it is needed and to make a good impression of that someone we want to manipulate.. Competitiveness - We are competitive only to those things we desire, we lack interest on petty things but if it hits our ego we would compete , we can guage our rivals ability and when we encounter a strong rival we analyze their weakness and exploit it to our advantage. if we that person remains strong and we improve ourself till we defeat them. Manipulation - we have different approach on dealing with people , if it's a cleaver guy we let them underestimate us till they let their guard down. manipulation to get what you want comes natural to us and we also know when people are trying to manipulate us as well. Selfishness - yes we are selfish and only do thing that benefits us ,it could be now or in the future, sometimes I lend people help, manipulate them and get what we want. but it's not all about ourselves we also think about family and friends interest how they gain them and how we get advantage from it. Rules - rules are meant to protect the rule itself and we always want to test it, we are aware of the consequence but thrilled to not follow it or just the sense of "we just got away doing this" and now that I have kids I feel like I'm less Machiavellian (I want to believe) as I put them as my main priority (human nature), but whenever I loses focus or have a new desire all traits activates! I dont think I was born this way but somewhere on all of my experience in life I became this way to thrive. I do not hate being a Machiavellian, what I really hate is I cant tell anyone that this is what am I , not because of what people might think, but because of losing my concealment as a manipulator. I hope you all understand how I feel. Personal view on other dark traits: Narcissist - Ego guy who's not worth my time.😂 Psychopath - Danger/Risk , no benefit on dealing with.😅

We were SORT of taught about this in school, but i really wish we'd been taught all of it- especially about the different lengths of each part, and the pain. I never realised that the joint pain was related in any way to my periods, or the heightened senses- We just really learnt about the bleeding, bloating and cramping- And the doctors always kinda just said 'it's a girl thing'. I really do wish this was explained more- Women have to put up with a lot from our bodies and i feel like a lot of what we have to deal with just gets pushed under the rug as 'not important' when it actually affects a large part of our lives.

And afterwards you are going to play out your power and send me home for a week with homework. Because you CAN. Because you LIKE excerting power. Because you WANT to push your moral standards on everyone. YOU are JUST like me! But you will never surmount to anything more than a teacher. A little man, a pencil pusher. I genuinely believe this is one of the most underestimated psychological effects in existence. Back in the 1930’s, Dale Carnegie wrote a book and around 2/3 of that book was about the Pygmalion Effect. That book proceeded to become one of the greatest bestselling “self help” books ever written. You may have heard of that book. It is titled How to Win Friends and Influence People.
